FachPack 2016 Review: Personal advice, collaborative cooperation, successful innovations

Fair Trade FachPack 2016 Review

Large numbers of visitors to the stand, a variety of packaging solutions from the Kunert Group, which were met with great interest and resonance from the well-informed specialist public – and then, as a finale, the industry's Innovation Prize, the “Golden Wave” for the disposable load carrier made from Kunert Wellpappe’s corrugated cardboard: The Kunert Group's achievements at the FachPack 2016 trade fair could not be better.
"Of course we enjoy presenting our new products and applications at trade fairs. The icing on the cake for us is the conversations we have at the stand with customers and interested parties. As a company group with consultancy competence and the search for the best industry solutions in its DNA, we look for this direct exchange at every opportunity: At trade fairs, as well as in workshops or presentations directly at a customer’s or at our own sites," says Manfred Kunert, President Director of Paul & Co. Personal advice is the heart of every project in the Kunert company group. So if you did not have the opportunity to visit the Kunert Group stand at FachPack, you are invited to speak with an employee of the company group also after the trade fair about your packaging or paper core project.
The Tack High Core and Flex-Winkel angular edge protector were found particularly interesting by the visitors to the trade fair, as well as the disposable load carrier made from corrugated cardboard for overseas shipping, which was awarded the Corrugated Cardboard innovation prize.

Tack High Core: Innovation with adhesive strength

Tack High Core: Innovation with adhesive strength
Paul & Co presented new paper cores for paper and for films and foils, whose surfaces are covered with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that can be activated with water when required. Visitors to the Kunert Group stand could see for themselves during the presentations how securely and easily it works. Whether the adhesive shall be effective all over or only partly, as well as the adhesive strength itself, is easily regulated by the amount of water applied. The benefits: Start-up winding supports are not required, the formation of dust from core cutting and markings of adhesive tape edges on rolled materials are things of the past. Mounted films and foils can be corrected and repositioned before starting the winding process. Without moistening, the surfaces of the paper cores are smooth and do not stick to each other, even at high temperatures or high air humidity. Paul & Co would be pleased to demonstrate on site how easy it is to use the Tack high Core.

Flex-Winkel: Security through flexible protection for octabins

Flex-Winkel: Security through flexible protection for octabins
Presenting the Flex-Winkel angular edge protectors, the Kunert Group introduced another innovation: The load securing developed by Paul & Co together with Kunert Wellpappe Bad Neustadt flexibly fits various types of box edges. The Flex-Winkel therefore sits safe and flat to the load. Two belt guides on the sides ensure that the tension belts remain in position. With the Flex-Winkel, Paul & Co and Kunert Wellpappe offer a complete system for securing octabins.
